Distinction (First Class Honours), with a First in every examination. Thesis: “Creating the International - The Practice of Internationalism in the Secretariat of the League of Nations, 1918-1946”.

Professional Experience

University of Oxford: International Relations Tutor (September 2017 – present). Tutor for undergraduates in international relations, international history of the Cold War, and international history of the interwar period; have prepared and led weekly tutorials at five different Oxford colleges.

Oxford Brookes University: Associate Lecturer (September 2017 – present). Lecturer and seminar leader for courses on political theory, research methodology, and human rights theory and practice to undergraduate students.  

Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, qualified in 2013 (not currently practising).

Shearman & Sterling LLP: Associate (London/Brussels, 2013 – 2015). Qualified solicitor (lawyer) in the firm’s Antitrust team, working on EU and UK competition law cases.

Shearman & Sterling LLP: Trainee Solicitor (London/Brussels, 2011 – 2013). Completed four six-month seats in competition law (Brussels), banking, structured finance, and project development and finance (London).

Economic and Social Research Council Scholarship, University of Oxford (2015-2019). Full ESRC scholarship, covering tuition and maintenance fees, for both MPhil and DPhil.
